1. Sponsor

Referred to in these rules as “4xSolar,” “Sponsor,” “we,” or “us.”

This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, X, Google, Shopify, Klaviyo, Overland Expo, Emerald Holding, or any event venue or product manufacturer, unless expressly stated in Schedule A.

2. Agreement to these Rules

By entering, you fully and unconditionally agree to and accept these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the promotion. Winning a prize is contingent upon meeting all requirements set forth in these rules.

3. Eligibility

Open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry.

Not eligible: employees, owners, officers, contractors, and sales representatives of 4xSolar LLC, and their immediate family members (spouse, domestic partner, parent, child, or sibling) and members of their household. Also not eligible: employees and immediate family of any co-sponsor, prize supplier, or promotional partner identified in Schedule A.

Void in Puerto Rico, all other United States territories and possessions, and outside the United States. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Prizes will not be shipped outside the fifty United States and the District of Columbia.

4. Promotion Period

Each promotion has a defined start date and time and end date and time, stated in Schedule A. Entries submitted before or after the Promotion Period are not eligible. Sponsor’s computer and records are the official timekeeping devices for the promotion.

5. How to Enter

Entry methods are stated in Schedule A and may include an online entry form, an in-person entry at a 4xSolar booth or event, or a QR-code-driven form.

Entry is always free. No purchase, payment, fee, or product order is ever required to enter or to win any 4xSolar promotion. Making a purchase does not create additional entries and does not improve your odds.

Free Alternate Method of Entry

If any 4xSolar promotion is ever presented alongside a purchase, or if you prefer not to use the primary entry method for any reason, you may enter free of charge by mailing a hand-printed postcard with your full name, complete mailing address, email address, daytime telephone number, and the name of the promotion to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked within the Promotion Period and received no later than five (5) business days after the Promotion Period ends. Mail-in entries receive exactly the same chance of winning as any other entry method. Mechanically reproduced, photocopied, or bulk-submitted mail-in entries are void.

Entry limit

One (1) entry per person per promotion, unless Schedule A states otherwise. Entries submitted using multiple email addresses, multiple identities, or any automated, scripted, robotic, or programmed method are void and may result in disqualification from this and all future 4xSolar promotions.

Entry information

Entries must include a valid email address. Providing an obviously false, incomplete, or undeliverable email address voids the entry. Questions on an entry form about your vehicle, your build, or your power setup are optional and are not a condition of entry. Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are lost, late, misdirected, garbled, incomplete, or not received for any reason, including technical failure of any kind.

6. Prize

The prize, its Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”), and the number of prizes awarded are stated in Schedule A. The following conditions apply to all 4xSolar promotions.

• Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee from Sponsor beyond the manufacturer’s standard warranty, if any.
• Prizes are non-transferable. No substitution, assignment, or cash equivalent is available, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater retail value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason.
• Vehicle-fitted products. Certain 4xSolar prizes, including hood-mounted and body-mounted solar panels, are manufactured to fit a specific vehicle year, make, model, and trim. Where a prize is vehicle-specific, the winner must supply accurate vehicle year, make, model, and trim information. If no compatible product exists for the winner’s vehicle, Sponsor will substitute a 4xSolar product of equal or greater retail value. Sponsor is not responsible for fitment issues arising from inaccurate vehicle information supplied by the winner or from aftermarket modifications to the winner’s vehicle.
• Standard ground shipping within the fifty United States and the District of Columbia is included. Expedited shipping, freight surcharges for oversized items beyond standard ground service, professional installation, mounting hardware not included in the advertised kit, and any customs, import, or brokerage charges are the winner’s responsibility unless Schedule A states otherwise.
• Installation is not included. Solar and electrical installation may require professional work. The winner is solely responsible for safe and lawful installation and for compliance with all applicable vehicle, electrical, and safety codes.
• All federal, state, and local taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes with an ARV of $600 or more in a calendar year may require the winner to complete and return an IRS Form W-9, and Sponsor will issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC as required by law. Failure to return a completed W-9 when requested results in forfeiture.
• Any portion of a prize not claimed or used is forfeited and has no cash value.

7. Odds of Winning

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.

8. Winner Selection

Unless Schedule A states otherwise, the winner is selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The drawing is conducted by Sponsor or its designated representative using a random selection method. Sponsor’s selection is final and binding.

Sponsor may also select one or more alternate (“backup”) winners in the same drawing, to be used only in the event a selected winner is disqualified, cannot be reached, fails to respond within the claim period, or declines the prize.

9. Winner Notification and Claim Period

The winner is notified using the email address supplied with the entry, and may additionally be notified by telephone or text message if that information was provided.

The winner must respond to the notification within forty-eight (48) hours of the time the notification is sent, unless Schedule A states a longer period. The response must include any information reasonably required to fulfill the prize, which typically includes full legal name, complete street shipping address, daytime telephone number, and, for vehicle-specific prizes, vehicle year, make, model, and trim.

If the winner does not respond within the claim period, provides an invalid or undeliverable address, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or fails to return any required document, the prize is forfeited and Sponsor may award it to an alternate winner. Sponsor is not obligated to award a prize if an insufficient number of eligible entries is received or if no eligible winner can be verified.

Sponsor may require the winner to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and, where lawful, a Publicity Release before the prize is awarded.

10. Publicity and Use of Name

Except where prohibited by law, by entering this promotion each entrant grants Sponsor permission to use the entrant’s first name, last initial, city, and state for the purpose of announcing the results of the promotion, in any and all media now known or later developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further notice, compensation, review, or approval.

Use of an entrant’s full name, photograph, likeness, image, voice, video, statements, or photographs of the entrant’s vehicle for advertising, marketing, or promotional purposes requires the entrant’s separate, express, written consent. Sponsor will request this consent separately and in writing.

Sponsor will never publish an entrant’s email address, telephone number, or street address.

Residents of Tennessee and any other jurisdiction where the publicity grant above is prohibited or requires separate consent are excepted to the extent required by that jurisdiction’s law.

11. Privacy

Information collected from entrants is subject to the 4xSolar Privacy Policy.

Entering a 4xSolar promotion may add you to the 4xSolar email list if you opt in. Every 4xSolar marketing email contains a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing at any time — including immediately after entering — has no effect on your entry, your eligibility, or your odds of winning. Sponsor does not sell entrant personal information.

Where an entry form asks about your vehicle or your power setup, those answers are optional, are used to determine prize fitment and to improve our product recommendations, and are not a condition of entry.

12. Release and Limitation of Liability

By entering, each entrant releases and holds harmless Sponsor, its owners, officers, employees, agents, and representatives, and each of their respective successors and assigns, from any and all liability for any injury, loss, damage, or harm of any kind to person or property arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in this promotion or from acceptance, receipt, possession, use, or misuse of any prize.

Sponsor is not responsible for: technical, hardware, software, network, telephone, or other failures of any kind; lost, incomplete, delayed, garbled, or misdirected entries or notifications; unauthorized human intervention in the entry process; printing, typographical, or administrative errors in these rules or in any promotional material; or any injury or damage to any person’s device related to participating in this promotion.

Nothing in these rules limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

13. Disqualification and Right to Modify

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process, violated these rules, acted in a disruptive manner, or acted with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any person.

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, terminate, or modify any promotion if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper conduct of the promotion. In such event, Sponsor may select the winner from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received prior to the impairment.

Any attempt to deliberately damage or undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil law.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Sponsor, are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Each entrant agrees that any dispute arising from or relating to any 4xSolar promotion will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, in a state or federal court located in Pima County, Arizona. Entrants waive all rights to claim punitive, incidental, or consequential damages and any damages other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and waive all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased.

15. Winners List

For the name of the winner of any 4xSolar promotion, send a self-addressed stamped envelope specifying the name of the promotion to the Sponsor address in Section 1 within ninety (90) days after the end of the applicable Promotion Period. Winner names are also typically announced at 4xsolar.com and on 4xSolar social channels.

16. Severability

If any provision of these rules is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

17. Conflict

In the event of any conflict between these Master Rules and Schedule A, Schedule A controls for the specific promotion it describes. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and any short-form rules, advertisement, email, social post, or signage, these Official Rules control.

Archive of Concluded Promotions

No earlier promotions are archived. Schedule A blocks for concluded promotions are retained by Sponsor and are available on written request to the address in Section 1.
