Ordering & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–3 business days from US-based warehouses. Standard delivery is 3–7 business days depending on your location.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we ship within the continental United States only. We're working on expanding to Alaska, Hawaii, and select international destinations — sign up for email updates to be notified.
Is shipping free?
We offer free shipping on orders over $99. Orders under $99 have a flat-rate shipping fee calculated at checkout.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and link. You can also check your order status by logging into your account.

What does 4xSolar specialize in?
We focus on rugged, expedition-grade off-grid power systems for overland, van life, and off-grid adventures — solar panels (including vehicle-specific Lensun hood mounts), charge controllers, LiFePO4 battery systems, GMRS radios, and Starlink accessories built for life away from the grid.
Do I need a license for GMRS radios?
Yes. GMRS (General Mobile Radio Service) requires an FCC license, which costs $35 and covers your entire household for 10 years. No test is required.
What's the difference between GMRS and ham radio for overlanding?
GMRS is simpler — no test, family-friendly, works well for convoy communication and camp coordination, and has repeater access in most regions. Ham radio requires passing an FCC exam but opens far more spectrum and modes if you want serious range or off-grid comms redundancy. Most overland groups are well served by GMRS alone.
Are the Lensun hood panels really vehicle-specific?
Yes. Each Lensun panel is laminated and pre-curved to the exact hood profile of your vehicle year and trim — Wrangler JK/JL, Gladiator, 4Runner (4th/5th gen), Tacoma 3rd gen, Bronco, and Land Cruiser 80 series. They're bolt-on, no drilling required, and the fit means you don't need a rack or standoffs for a typical install.

What is your return policy?
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for unused, unopened items in original packaging. See our Returns Policy for full details.
Do products come with a warranty?
Yes. All products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms vary by product and brand — check the individual product page for details.

Do you offer installation services?
We don't offer installation, but our products are designed for DIY builders. We'll be publishing step-by-step install guides and build logs soon.
